Pick 3: January Linky!

Looking for your monthly dose of inspiration!

I have seen this many times before and have always wanted to try it.  This pin will take you to a blog post that will walk you through the step by step process of making crystals.

Here are 9 cute math games. Most are for early elementary students.

I love using picture books to jump start a lesson. My third pick uses Caralyn Buehner book Snowmen at Night to get the students writing. Even though this freebie is geared to younger students I think this writing prompt could easily be adapted to work for my 5th graders.

  3. The writing prompt is fun! I could totally see my 6th graders getting into it as a narrative option on a writing menu! By the way, love the colors on your blog!
